The amazing reasoning skills of the ‘Running Man’ members amazed the staff.
The June 10th episode of SBS TV’s ‘Running Man’ presented a mysterious race with the concept of ‘Strange School Trip’.
Lee Kwang Soo became the self-proclaimed jjang, Song Ji Hyo was the #1 beauty, HaHa was the son of a rich family, Yoo Jae Suk the dance jjang, Kim Jong Kook the model student, Gary the working student, and Ji Suk Jin the stock market wreck and they headed to ‘Running High School’ for their school trip.
The members were carrying out the missions in Incheon when some high school students approached them. The high school girls said that they were on a school trip and said things like, “I like you so much I started to talk to you” and handed a toothbrush, a letter, a chocolate cookie, T-shirt, hair spray, and more. The students hinted “You’ll need it later. keep it a secret from the other members.”
At the end of the day, the members arrived at Muido for the night. The member carried out a strangely easy mission to find a piece of paper with an ‘R’ on it but everyone but were distracted as they enjoyed the time afterward by the campfire thinking back to the school days.
Later when the treasure hunt started, Gary had a secret meeting with the PD while the members felt that something was off. It turns out Gary was the zombie among them. Gary received the mission to turn each and every member into a zombie by taking off their name tags.
Gary was quick on his feet taking off Song Ji Hyo’s name tag off turning her into a zombie while she was having a conversation with Kim Jong Kook. Kim Jong Kook quickly was turned into a zombie as well.
Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, HaHa, and Lee Kwang Soo were oblivious to the occurrence and were shocked to find out about the news of zombies on TV. It was explained on TV that in order to eliminate the zombies, you had to shoot them with a water gun containing a special liquid and also take their name tag off.
The remaining human members started to come up with a plan. They remembered the items from the high school girls earlier in the day. The secret was in the origin of the products. The room with the flag of the country of the origin had the gun and the fluid that could kill the zombies.
The production staff was taken aback. The ‘Running Man’ members so quickly figured out the way to eliminate the zombies that it shocked the staff.
Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin shot Lee Kwang Soo with a water gun when he suggested to go out to a brighter location when they learned that the zombies hate the darkness. Lee Kwang Soo had already turned into a zombie by then. Kim Jong Kook was also eliminated subsequently as the members deduced correctly that he had become a zombie.
Ji Suk Jin was taken out by Yoo Jae Suk eventually, and the battle between the human Yoo Jae Suk and zombies Song Ji Hyo and Gary ensued.
Yoo Jae Suk unfortunately was attacked by the zombies and Gary, the zombie won in the end.
