Singer IU gives the ‘Running Man’ cast a surprise ‘morning call’

IU‘s morning call on ‘Running Man‘ has become a hot topic of conversation online.

On the episode of SBS‘s ’Running Man‘ that aired on January 15th, IU woke up the other guests on the show by singing to them live, bright and early in the morning.

The ‘Running Man’ cast who had just woken up had expressions of wonder and disbelief as they ran outside of the pension to see IU singing right before their eyes.

Netizens who saw this episode reacted in various ways saying, “IU’s Running Man morning call, I’m green with envy“, “IU’s morning call must have been marvelous!“, and “I wish I could hear IU’s morning call in person“.

MC Yoo Jae Suk is given a new nickname on ‘Running Man’

Yoo Jae Suk has developed a new nickname.

Similarly to last week’s episode, Ji Jin Hee, Lee Chun Hee, Joo Sang Hyuk, and Kim Sung Soo starred on this week’s episode of Running Man that aired on January 15th. This week’s objective was to win a bingo race.

With IU as a special guest, the teams could now split evenly into three groups. They arrived on the island and started the treasure hunt to look for pieces of paper with numbers written on them.

The island was so vast that finding the papers was like finding needles in a haystack. As the teams were out looking for the papers, Yoo Jae Suk’s team and Ji Jin Hee’s team bumped into one other.

Yoo Jae Suk sang and danced to Girl’s Generation’s ‘Gee’ at ‘Ji’ Jin Hee, jokingly making fun of his last name. Ji Jin Hee responded by saying, “How can we call him a mere grasshopper, when he is the nation’s grasshopper!”

After Ji Jin Hee’s response the other members also made fun of the “National Grasshopper” and instantaneously, Yoo Jae Suk new nickname was born.

Running Man staff worried about Song Ji Hyo, “Ji..Ji Hyo ya”

The ‘Running Man’ subtitles full of worry for Song Ji Hyo is receiving a lot of netizen attention.

On January 16th on an online community board, pictures of of Song Ji Hyo captured off of the January 15th episode of SBS‘s ‘Running Man’ have been posted with the title ‘Running Man subtitle worrying about actress Song Ji Hyo’.

On the episode, IU made a surprise appearance and sang ‘You and I’ to wake up the cast. As the ‘Running Man’ members were woken up one by one, they came outside.

Song Ji Hyo looks down to earth without a trace of makeup on ‘Running Man’ oftentimes and this day was no exception. Song Ji Hyo came out with messed about hair covered only by a baseball cap and seemed half asleep as she couldn’t even fully open her eyes.

The netizen who posted the pictures commented, “In the words ‘Ji, Ji Hyo ya’, the worries of ‘Running Man’ for actress Song Ji Hyo and not variety cast member Chun Sung Im were expressed. Anyways, Song Ji Hyo’s pretty even with messy hair and makeup free face.”

Ep 77 Bad JiHyo is back

Bad Ji Hyo reappeared on this episode and raged at the boys on how they can’t do a simple thing such as tossing the shell properly.

Ep 77 Joo Sang Wook

The other side to Joo Sang Wook-sshi (I just feel like adding that suffix. Ha.)

I’m glad he was assigned to RED TEAM.

He really looks different in normal clothes. I mean, he looks rad in “killer clothes” aka dark suits and aviators and black leather gloves. (ooh I’m nursing a crush, innit? HEE)

And I like the fact he sheds off his “cool and macho” stance in this episode. He’s more vocal than he ever was in previous EP. 76. In fact, was he trying to crack a joke there? :P

I like the part where he was advising YELLOW TEAM and said,

“When you can’t flip it properly, just laugh it off and move on.”

Everyone seemed surprised by his slapsticky commentary that they can’t help but laugh at his adorkableness! xD

LOL @giraffe motif jumper! Joo Sang Wook tried to be all-serious and took off his jacket, only to be smirked at cos the giraffe motif on his jumper is way too cutesy for him to act all-serious. xD

There were a couple of times when he was standing next to JH and I thought they looked so good together DAYUM.

He seemed a tad shy towards JH and then became wary of her instead. JH was being a tough cookie in that particular mission, berating the boys on how they can’t do a simple thing such as tossing the shell properly.

I don’t blame the guys in RM for treating her like one of the dongsaengs cos frankly, while she’s pretty and all.. her tomboyish side does come off a tad strong at times. But that’s her attraction in RM, I guess. ^^
