The staff members of SBS ‘Running Man‘ expressed that there may be some changes with the ‘Monday Couple’ on the program now that Song Ji Hyo‘s relationship was revealed to the public.
‘Running Man’ PD Cho Hyo Jin informed Star News on February 1st, “I was just informed of Song Ji Hyo’s relationship over the phone. The last recording of ‘Running Man’ took place on the 30th. The cast members themselves are close, so they might have known about her relationship, but us staff members had no idea.”
In regards to the relationship between Gary and Song Ji Hyo changing on the program, PD Cho remarked, “‘Monday Couple’ was never scripted, it just sort of naturally happened as the show went on, and therefore we staff members have no plans to change the direction nor dynamic of their relationship.”
“However, we do feel that with Song Ji Hyo’s relationship going public, the ‘Monday Couple’ relationship will also naturally begin to change on the show,” PD Cho added.
It was recently revealed that actress Song Ji Hyo is currently in a relationship with Baek Chang Joo, the CEO of
her agency, CJeS Entertainment. Also under his umbrella are 3-member boy group JYJ and Park Yoochun‘s younger brother, actor Park Yoo Hwan. Song Ji Hyo is currently a cast member on SBS’ hit variety program ‘Running Man’, and she has displayed her acting prowess in projects and dramas such as ‘Gye Baek‘.
